Readdle has stopped its cooperation with the Russian Federation.
The Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov informed this on his Facebook page.
He mentioned that the company removed all its applications from the Russian App Store and Google Play. These are the following apps, to be specific: Spark, Documents, Scanner Pro, PDF Expert, Calendars.
Readdle stated it would not "deal with Russian companies or companies that continue to support the Russian invasion in Ukraine."
"Users in Russia will still have access to the installed app, but new features or security updates will not be available. We will no longer offer customer support for our applications. Readdle will no longer be available for new users in the Russian App Store or Google Play. We will not offer our products and services to users in Russia," the statement said.
The company called on all international clients and partners to support Ukraine.
Also, Starbucks and Coca-Cola condemned the war against Ukraine and announced that they had stopped their activities in Russia.
The Council of the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) has decided not to participate in any new cooperation with Russia and its institutions. CERN has also suspended Russia's observer status.
