In the Dnipro region, the members of territorial defense were digging trenches and found a jar dating back to the early Bronze Age. The information was confirmed by the senior expert of the Dnipropetrovsk National Museum of History, Dmytro Romanchuk, reports Suspilne.
According to this information, traces of a burial site were discovered next to the jar. All findings were transferred to the museum. Archeologists plan to return to the area after the war.
"For now, the jar and a skull are in the museum. After the war, we will tell about the men who discovered [the artifacts] and transfer them, and thank them for conscientious treatment of historical heritage," added the museum representative.
Romanchuk reviewed the rules of treatment of historical artifacts during the war. Namely, when discovering a historical object, one has to photograph it next to something long to indicate cardinal directions, then carefully package and give it to the experts.
Since the beginning of the war, over 100 thousand people have joined the Territorial Defense.
