On Sunday, March 13, regular meetings against the presence of Russian occupiers in the city are taking place in Kherson.

People have gathered again in front of the regional state administration building. There are a lot of Ukrainian flags that can be seen at the meeting. Thus, the participants express their attitude towards the idea of proclaiming a "Kherson People's Republic" in the region.
In particular, slogans at the meeting sounds like "Go Home until is still alive!", "Kherson is Ukraine!" and others directed against the occupiers.
Also, the anniversary of the liberation of the city from the fascists in 1944 was celebrated under the Ukrainian flags in Kherson on March 13, according to Lyubim Kherson.
"On March 13, we came to the Alley of Glory to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier - not just descendants, but Ukrainians who picked up the flag of their heroic ancestors and who carry it to the common Victory. Glory to the Ukrainian city Kherson, a hero city! Eternal memory to the soldiers-liberators. Everything will be Ukraine!" - Yegor Ustinov, deputy chairman of the Kherson regional council, said.
An extraordinary session of the Kherson Regional Council was held on March 12. 44 deputies supported the appeal that "Kherson region is Ukraine". There will be no pseudo-republic in the region, deputies said.
Representatives of the Rosguard and special rapid reaction forces began threatening pro-Ukrainian activists, journalists, and ex-servicemen in Kherson.
