The missile strike on the International Center for Peacekeeping and Security near Lviv was carried out from planes that took off from Saratov in Russia. The Russians used air-to-ground missiles, according to preliminary data announced at the briefing by the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyy.
The planes fired missiles without flying into the territory. According to preliminary data, more than 30 missiles were fired. Air-defense systems detected the target, so a number of missiles were downed.
"Currently, 134 people are injured, 35 heroes have died. The fire is being extinguished," said Kozytskyy.
Kozytsky urged bloggers not to publish photos of the destruction, so that the enemy could not clearly say what was affected. Only official information can be disseminated.
