Today at dawn in the Obolonskyy district in Kyiv, on street Bogatyrska, 20, an artillery shell hit a nine-storey residential building. There was partial destruction from the 1st to the 3rd floor and apartments burning on the 3rd and 4th floors.

The press service of the State Emergency Service reported that at 07:04 am, SES units localized the fire on an area of 500 square meters, rescuing four people. The search continues. Information about the victims is being clarified.

Update. At 07:58 am, the SES extinguished the fire. The bodies of two victims were found at the scene. In addition, three people were hospitalized, nine people were treated on the spot.

"On 14 March, at 5:09 am, the operations coordination centre of Central Staff of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv received a report of a fire in the Obolonskyy district of the capital. SES officers arrived and found the stairwell and house facade from 1st to 9th floor were partially destroyed from 1st to 3rd floor, and fires in apartments on the 3rd and 4th floors due to the hit of an unknown object", the statement said.

Rescuers immediately began to evacuate residents and extinguish the fire.

The fire is currently being extinguished. The SES involved nine basic and special fire and rescue equipment units and 35 personnel of the SES.

At 02:40 am on 14 March, the enemy fired a missile at the administrative buildings of the village of Stavyshche, Zhytomyr region. Four people were injured, seven buildings were destroyed.
