President Volodymyr Zenesky made a proposition to the Verkhovna Rada to extend the martial law for an additional 30 days starting March 26.

The President introduced a corresponding bill to the Parliament.

The official website of Rada indicates that the document has been routed for the Committee review. The document will be released via mass media and will become official from the date of publication.

The bill stipulates that “the term of the marital law in Ukraine is extended for 30 days starting at 5:30am March 26, 2022.”

As a reminder, in the early hours of March 24 Russian launched a military invasion on Ukrainian territory and started shelling cities, villages and infrastructure facilities. The Verkhovna Rada announced martial law in Ukraine.
