Negotiations between the delegations of Ukraine and country-aggressor Russia will continue tomorrow, 16 March 2022. The Adviser to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mykhailo Podoliak, announced it. "We will continue tomorrow. The negotiation process is complicated and viscous. There are fundamental contradictions. But there is room for compromise," he wrote on Twitter. Podoliak also noted that work in subgroups would continue during the break.

Earlier, the Adviser to the Head of the OPU said that consultations on the central negotiating platform had been resumed. According to Podoliak, the agenda includes general settlement issues, ceasefire, and withdrawal of troops from the country.

On 14 March 2022, Podoliak reported that the technical pause was taken in negotiations with Russia. It was done to perform additional tasks in working subgroups and specify specific definitions.

On 12 March 2022, the Ukrainian delegation held negotiations with the Russians in video format.

On 28 February 2022, the Ukrainian delegation held the first negotiations with representatives of the Russian Federation near the Ukrainian-Belarusian border. They ended with "identification of several priority topics where certain solutions were outlined."

The second round took place on 3 March 2022. The parties managed to agree on organizing humanitarian borders "with the possibility of a temporary ceasefire for the period of evacuation." In addition, Ukraine tried to negotiate on a no-fly and conflict-free zone near the nuclear power plant, but the Russian military did not agree.

The third round of negotiations took place on 7 March 2022. Unfortunately, as Podoliak reported, no results significantly improving the situation have been achieved.
