The city of Chernobyl suffered from looting by Russian troops. This was announced by the Head of the State Agency of Ukraine on Exclusion Zone Management Oleksandr Syrota.
"News from Chernobyl. The occupiers do not touch our people, but all the offices of the companies located in the city have been robbed. System units, office equipment, protective clothing are being exported. Vehicles that remained on the territory of the enterprises have also been destroyed.”
According to him, there is no electricity in the city. In total, about 500 people remained in Chernobyl.
Earlier, according to Ukrainian state company “Energoatom”, the Russian occupiers turned the Chernobyl NPP into a military base. The staff is taking care of the plant’s safety in inhumane conditions.
