Luhansk governor says Russians drops aviation, phosphorous bombs

Four people died, two of them children.

In the Luhansk region, the enemy focused its efforts on capturing Rubizhne and Severodonetsk, using aircraft and phosphorus bombs.

This was announced on the morning of March 24 by the head of the Luhansk Region Military Administration Serhiy Haidai.

"Enemy’s air force continues active operations in the Luhansk region. Yesterday at 7:45 the racists struck the northern neighborhoods of Rubizhne. A phosphorus bomb was dropped on Rubizhne last night," he said.

In the area of Popasna, with the support of artillery, the enemy continues tying to advance into the city and gain the previously captured foothold in positions. He was unsuccessful and suffered losses.

As a result of heavy shelling in Severodonetsk, Lysychansk, Rubizhne, Kreminna, Novodruzhesk, Voevodivka, about 31 objects were damaged, including 10 apartment buildings and 13 private houses, a light industry enterprise, an educational institution, outbuildings, garages, and infrastructure objects.

During yesterday's shelling in Luhansk region, four people were killed, including two children (Rubizhne), six people were injured (Rubizhne).

There were 16 fires in the buildings as a result of Russian troops.

14 settlements were partially de-energized, 21 - completely. 101,526 consumers in Luhansk region are without electricity.

There is no gas supply in 27 settlements: in 22 - completely, in 5 - partially. In total it is about 32 550 consumers.
