Law enforcement officers have opened the proceeding, where the former city head of Izium in Kharkiv Oblast Oleksandr Bozhkov, two effective city council members, and an ex-policeman appear. They have sided with the enemy and started to help the occupational armies, reports the press service of the State Bureau of Investigation.
“They “leak” the information about the dislocation of the UAF, local activists, entrepreneurs, members of the territorial defence and their family members,” the message says.
It is also known that the traitors actively work with the disinformation of the local population and replicate the fakes about the Ukrainian government (falsely) giving up Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Izium to the occupants. The collaborators also call out to the local population to assist the occupants.
The criminal proceedings are started according to the art. 111 in the Criminal Codex of Ukraine (high treason).
Earlier today, the mayor of Izium Valeriy Marchenko has stated that the city council members Anatoliy Fomichevskyy from the OPZZh and Yuriy Kozlov from “Svitlychna’s Bloc “Together!”, united with the former police member Vladyslav Sokolov and ex-mayor from “Party of Regions” Oleksandr Bozhkov have started collaboration with the russian occupants.
“The traitors are gathering the personal data of people who have stayed in the city, disguised as if to provide humanitarian aid,” the current city head has said.
Marchenko has called out to the representatives of the law enforcement to start the investigation of the organized group crime in Izium, foreseen in the art. 111-1 in the Criminal Codex of Ukraine (high treason).
