Charity concert for support of Ukraine was organized in Vienna as part of Save Ukraine initiative; thousands of people came

"The concert with the participation of leading Austrian musicians began at 13.00 and will last for about 10 hours. The organizers expect that about 100,000 people will attend the event. There is also a live broadcast of the concert on Austrian television. The entrance is free, but all visitors are encouraged to make donations for the needs of Ukrainians affected by the war russia started. One can make a donation using a QR code hanging on stage. In his address to the audience, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Austria, Vasyl Khymenets, emphasized the importance of solidarity events like this one for Ukrainians. "This is a sign that Ukrainians are not alone now," - he said.

As a part of the international telemarathon Save Ukraine the speech of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, was broadcasted on the screen during the concert.

On 27 March 2022, at 18:30 Kyiv time (17:30 CET), the international charity telemarathon-concert Save Ukraine - #StopWar started. It will include more than 20 countries and gather more than 50 participants. The show will be broadcast in Warsaw, based on the Polish TV channel TVP. In addition, local TV channels will give people from other countries the opportunity to watch the concert as well. The list of countries and correspondent channels include but are not limited to Estonia (EBR), Lithuania (LTR), the Czech Republic (ČT2), Georgia (GPB \ First), Albania (RTSH 2), Montenegro, Slovenia, Latvia (LTV), Croatia (HRT), Slovakia (RTVS), Austria (Puls 4), Cyprus, Canada (OMNI) and others.
