Before the concert was broadcast, Czech culture leaders spoke in support of Ukraine, asking the international community to strengthen sanctions against Russia and support the creation of air humanitarian corridors over Ukraine, which will help save civilians from bombings.

The Ukrainian singer, Uliana Horbachevska, sang the national anthem of Ukraine. The debate was accompanied by the Czech writer Tereza Buchkova, who also read a letter from Nadia Sukhorukova from occupied Mariupol.

During more than two-hour broadcast, accompanied by TV channels from 20 countries in Europe and the world, musicians, artists, civic activists, cultural leaders, actors, athletes, and volunteers worldwide expressed their support to Ukraine.

On 27 March 2022, thousands of people in Vienna came to a charity concert supporting Ukraine; the show makes a part of the initiative Save Ukraine.
