Ukraine receives rescue machinery, equipment from France

Ukraine has received from France the rescue machinery and equipment that will be used to liquidate the effects of the residential buildings’ blockages, extinguish fires and rescue people.

Twenty-seven units of machinery and rescue equipment arrived today, as was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Ukraine, Etienne de Poncins, noted that the transfer of humanitarian aid is an expression of solidarity that has now spread throughout France. 

"The machinery and equipment were collected by all communities and fire departments of France. We express our support for Ukraine in the struggle for its freedom," – he said.

Let us remind that the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has offered France to become one of the guarantors of Ukrainiansecurity in the peace treaty to be signed to end the war waged by Russia.
