Russia is not considering the use of nuclear weapons in Ukraine. As reported by Reuters, the spokesman for russian president Dmytro Pieskov stated.
In his interview with the American television company PBS, the press secretary of the president of russia, Dmytro Pieskov, said that any outcome of the events in Ukraine is not a reason to use nuclear weapons.
"We have a concept of security, which states clearly that nuclear weapons can be used only in case of the threat of our state existence; only in this case we can, and we will use nuclear weapons," - Pieskov stated this.
"We do not doubt that all the goals of our special operation in Ukraine will be fulfilled. In any case, there is no reason to use nuclear weapons there," - Putin's spokesman said.
Earlier Pieskov declared that "Kyiv doesn't show readiness for the acceleration of negotiations with Moscow." He also said that there are no oligarchs in russia and compared the sanctioned arrests of assets of russian businessmen with the robbery of the Wild West.
