Global security architecture turned out to be useless; the peace in Ukraine will not be a consequence of some enemy's decisions somewhere in Moscow, said Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his video address on Saturday night.
"Let's not entertain empty hopes that they will simply leave our land. We can only fight for peace. We can only obtain it in heavy combat, and at the same time in negotiations, and at the same time in everyday dedicated work," said the President. "So, every one of us must keep doing everything they can. In every direction. Support our armed forces. Preserve and develop the economic activity of Ukraine as much as possible."
The President asked Ukrainians to support one another. "Even in peaceful times, one kind word restores life force. It is even more important in wartime. When we don't even know what a person goes through. What they lost. What help they need. But we can see that a person needs help. One must help. One must at least listen. Say a few warm words. One must do something to sustain life. It is necessary. You must pay attention to every person close to you!"
From the words of Zelenskyy, there are no small things in a situation when people defend themselves in a war of extermination, when it's a matter of life or death for millions.
"Everything matters. Everyone can contribute to the victory of all. Some with weapons. Some with work. Some with a kid word and help when it's most needed. So, do everything you can, so we can all persevere in this war for our freedom and independence. So that Ukraine lives."
