General Staff confirmed the elimination of Lieutenant Colonel of Russian army, Vitaliy Slabtsov

Russian media call the 43-year-old Slabtsov an "elite airborne soldier." On 1 April 2022, he was buried in a closed coffin in the cemetery in Riazan.

The Ukrainian militaries eliminated the lieutenant colonel of russian army guard, Vitaliy Slabtsov. He was deputy commander of the 83rd Guards Air Assault Brigade.

This was announced on Sunday evening, 3 April 2022, the General Staff of the UAF (Armed Forces of Ukraine) informed.

The General Staff noted that the russians continue to suffer losses in personnel and military equipment. Thus, a motorized infantry company from the 59th Panzer Regiment suffered significant losses in the Kharkiv region. It was established that the losses of this unit reached almost 80% of the personnel.

According to operational data, due to significant losses of personnel, about 25 servicemen of the 31st separate airborne assault brigade from Ulianovsk refused to take part in the war with Ukraine and wanted to resign.

"Also, the deputy commander of the 83rd Guards Air Assault Brigade, Vitaliy Slabtsov, was eliminated,"- the General Staff said.

Russian media call the 43-year-old Slabtsov an "elite airborne soldier" and say he died on 24 March 2022. On 1 April 2022, he was buried in a closed coffin in the cemetery in Riazan.

The russian occupies have already lost 18,000 people in the war in Ukraine.
