On 3 April 2022, russians once again launched a missile strike on the town of Vasylkiv in Kyiv Region. Our air defence systems managed to shoot down some of the missiles, the Air Force Command Centre has said.

"The area was shelled by enemy missiles a month ago and suffered significant damage, almost all the premises were burnt by a missile strike. Now the orcs (russians) have hit again the HQ, which has already been destroyed and the community began rebuilding it after the fire," the command added.

The command said that the russians sought to intimidate civilians by targeting the area where employees were cleaning the damage done to the streets and buildings.

According to preliminary data, several workers were injured and admitted to hospital, one of them in critical condition under medical supervision. Rescuers are checking the debris for possible survivors.

Earlier Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba called on missions of the International Criminal Court and international organizations to arrive in Bucha and other cities and towns of Kyiv region as soon as possible to gather evidence of Russian war crimes and crimes against humanity.

According to Deputy Defence Minister Hanna Malyar, citizens are advised to wait before returning to the liberated settlements, as shelters, basements, and hide-outs are being inspected for sabotage groups and mines.
