Russian guards did not allow a humanitarian van to reach Melitopol in the Zaporizhia region. At the same time, they seized the buses and trucks together with the aid, which was going directly to the occupied city.

The Mayor, Ivan Fedorov, told about it.

"The occupiers did not let our humanitarian convoy into Melitopol! Moreover, threatening the drivers, they took all the buses and trucks with the humanitarian cargo for themselves," Fedorov wrote on Facebook.

This means that the residents of Melitopol and the district will not only receive the vital aid - medication for the sick, food and hygiene products, which are no longer available in the city. Nor will they be able to leave Melitopol. Fedorov emphasized that Russia has not fulfilled its obligations regarding the humanitarian corridor.

"The incident with humanitarian aid for Melitopol is a clear example for the entire civilized world that Russia's promises, even to international organizations, are worth nothing. But we will not give up and will continue to fight for our Melitopol region. The enemy will not crush us, but only add fuel to the fire to make us stand up and win," Fedorov added.

The Head of the Zaporizhia RMA, Oleksandr Starukh confirmed that the occupiers did not allow the convoy of buses with humanitarian aid to enter the city of Melitopol . They told the drivers to take one bus and go back. The rest of the buses were confiscated by the russcists.
