The Prime Minister of one of the European countries wanted to get evidence that the russian war crimes in Bucha in the Kyiv region were not staged by Ukraine, - the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy states in an interview with the German newspaper Bild.

Journalist Paul Ronzheimer asked Zelenskyy about the worst he had heard in recent days. The President of Ukraine replied that this was the desire of one of the leading EU politicians to obtain evidence that the "Bucha massacre" was not staged.

Such rhetoric is used in the Kremlin to justify the atrocities of the russian occupiers in Ukraine.

Zelenskyy confirmed that the politician was the prime minister of a European country but did not name him.

"Show us the evidence that this is not a staging," the President quoted the politician's saying.

According to "Ukrainska Pravda", the situation refers to the Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán.

In Bucha and other Ukrainian settlements the russian army tortured and killed civilians, including children. There are several mass graves of civilians in the city, one of them for more than 200 people. The occupiers also tried to burn the people they tortured to hide the traces of their crimes.

As of April 8, 163 locals killed by the Russian occupiers had been identified in liberated Bucha. In total, it is known that 320 civilians died during the city occupation.

On April 8, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal together with the President of the European Commission, The High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and the Prime Minister of Slovakia visited the city of Bucha. They witnessed the atrocities committed by the russian military against civilian Ukrainians.

In addition, Germany's foreign intelligence service intercepted the conversations between the russian militaries discussing the murders of civilians in Bucha. Some radio conversations go about the bodies of people whose deaths have been documented. In one radio message, a russian soldier tells another that he and his mates knocked a man off his bicycle. In another message, the man said, "First you question people and then shoot them." The Intelligence also reports that russian mercenaries, such as Wagner, took a significant part in the atrocities.

Russian propagandists are spreading misinformation that civilians in Bucha, who died at the hands of the russian military, are "cinema mannequins" brought by the "Kyiv regime" after the russian army left the Ukrainian city. The main "proof" of this statement was a video dated April 7, 2022 where the Ukrainian military allegedly was wearing a mannequin.

Meanwhile, the russian TV director Nadezhda Kolobayeva said that "it was we on March 20 in Vsevolozhsk filming the fall from the window for our TV series."

Russia's envoy to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, speaking out in defense of russia's aggression, suddenly made a slit and said that there were no corpses in Bucha "before the arrival of the russian troops." "If you look closely at what you see in Bucha, the corpses. The corpses lying on the streets that were not there until the russian troops entered…Left, sorry," - said the russian ambassador.

This was pointed out by the Ukrainian representative in the UN Sergiy Kyslytsya.

The Ukrainian diplomat also caught Nebenzya in another manipulation. When Nebenzya quoted the words of the deputy of the Bucha city Kateryna Ukraintseva from the interview with the russian "Medusa". Nebenzya stated that Ukraintseva allegedly confirmed that "people there were not shot" during the occupation, but instead were given food. Sergiy Kyslytsya rebuked the russian envoy for quoting a part of this publication that was beneficial to him and read it in full: "It happened that the russian soldiers brought some food to the basement and then threw a grenade there."
