At least 530 children have been injured since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. As a result of Russian aggression, 186 children were killed and more than 344 were injured. This was reported by the Prosecutor General's Office.
It was pointed out that the figures are not final because they should be investigated and made precise in places of active military activities, on the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
Children were most affected in the following regions:
Donetsky - 113,
Kyivsky - 99,
Kharkivsky - 76,
Chernihivsky - 54,
Mykolaivsky - 40,
Luhansky - 36,
Khersonsky - 36,
Zaporiz`ky - 22,
Kyivsky - 16,
Sumsky - 16,
Zhytomyrsky - 15.
Please be reminded that the day before, Ukraine and Lithuania signed an agreement for protection of Ukrainian children affected by the war.
