First of all, the elimination of Zelenskyy - Danilov disclosed russia's plans immediately after the invasion

Secretary of National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov revealed the initial plans of the russian federation in Ukraine after the invasion. According to him, the first and main task was to eliminate President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Danilov said this in an interview with the BBC Ukraine.

A high-ranking official noted that Ukraine was preparing for a russian attack. This should have taken place on February 22, not February 24.

“We have a clear understanding that it should have been February 22. Our intelligence officers in battles received scripts that were issued for the 22nd and then corrected for the 24th,” Danilov said.

He explained that the plan was quite simple and bold: first of all, the elimination of our President. “This was the number one issue for them, and several attempts were made to make it happen,” the Secretary of NSDC stressed.

Moreover, at about 19:20 on February 22, the Ukrainian authorities received information that an attempt to eliminate President Zelenskyy may take place any time soon.

“According to the procedure and protocol, I informed the President, presidential personal guard, the State Security Administration, the Prime Minister, his security service, the Minister of Internal Affairs, all the relevant authorities. That was on the 22nd. Then there were four more attempts. The most recent was on March 7, when we received information from our partners and intelligence services saying that such an operation was planned,” Danilov told.

When asked who should lead the puppet government that the russians wanted to form in Kyiv, the official replied that “it is neither Medvedchuk nor Yanukovych”.

As for Muraev or Tsarev, it is, according to Danilov, “ridiculous” and “even more ridiculous”.

“The only thing I can say is that these are people in uniform. High-ranking military officers… It is my assumption that these are high-ranking military officers. Both for the position of Prime Minister and President,” he said, noting that he can’t tell more specifically.

When asked if it should be the Ukrainians, the Secretary of NSDC answered: “The russians have never been able to rule us, it is impossible”.
