Russian forces fired rockets at the plant "Energomashspetsstal" (EMSS) in Kramatorsk, the Donetsk region. One of the plant's shops which is technologically crucial for the manufacturing of the products ordered is destroyed. The number of victims and the scale of destruction is currently being clarified.
The member of the Parliament and the president of the "Energomashspetsstal" company Maksym Yefimov reported that.
"There were no troops there. The industry of Ukraine is being destroyed," – the MP emphasized.
As recently a yesterday Yefimov posted on Facebook saying that EMSS's shops are overloaded by the products produced.
"At this difficult time, the plant's workers are working around the clock. They're producing products and components for the Ukrhydroenerho [hydro power – tr.] plants," – he reported.
"Energomashspetsstal" is the biggest Ukrainian producer of special cast steel and forged products for individual and small-scale production for the metallurgical industry, shipbuilding, energy industry, and general engineering. The company is part of the "Atomenergomash" company of the russian state-owned company "Rosatom".
