
The Netherlands will send “heavier materiel”, “including armored vehicles” to Ukraine.
Prime Minister Mark Rutte said on Twitter.
Mark Rutte stated that he together with the Netherlands’ Minister of Defense Kajsa Ollongren expressed their support to the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a phone call amid as “Russia begins a renewed offensive”.
“Along with allies, we are looking into supplying additional heavy materiel,” Rutte wrote.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy also wrote on Twitter that he informed Rutte “about the aggravation of the situation in Donbas” and is “grateful” for support. “When peace is restored we'll build Ukrainian-Netherlands relations of a new quality together in the EU!” Zelenskyy said.
The russian army went on the offensive in Kharkiv, Luhansk and Donetsk regions, storming the Ukrainian defense.
