The occupying forces of the russian federation decided to change the date of the so-called "referendum" in the Kherson region from the beginning of May to 27 April 2022. The operational command "South" reported this information.

"In the Kherson region, the occupiers have intensified preparations for the referendum. The russians changed the date of imitation of the people's will to 27 April 2022. Trying to speed up the legalization of the occupying authorities, russians, as always, ignore all the laws and regulations. The fact that russians scheduled the referendum for the middle of the week, on a working day, also supports the idea that they are not interested in the local population's will, and the result is already written in the prepared scenario," - says the statement.

Russian troops in Kherson plan to use the scheme of pseudo-referendums held by the russian occupiers in 2014 in Luhansk and Donetsk. Then, instead of expressing people's will, only a picture was created for russian television. Earlier it was reported that a pseudo-referendum is planned for 1-10 May 2022.
