Russia increases its systems of radioelectronic reconnaissance and the fight in the border area near Ukraine in the Homel region (Belarus). The stations of radio interference have been installed near the settlements of Klimovka and Dymamerka.
Besides, the enemy has held exercises for new forces and with air defense weapons. In general,in the Volyn and Polissia directions, the enemy has had no active actions. At the same time, the threat of missiles and airstrikes on Ukraine from the territory of belarus remains. In the Siverskyi direction, the border guards maintain increased defense of Ukraine’s border with the Bryansk and Kursk regions of russia. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy continues regrouping the troops.
“In the Slobozhanshchyna direction, the occupiers continue partial blocking of the city of Kharkiv by the units of 6th and combined army, Baltic and Northern fleets, try to fire units of our forces and critical infrastructure facilities,” is reported in the brief.
In the Izyum direction, the enemy carries out aerial reconnaissance of positions of our troops to determine the possible directions of attack. Besides, the russians tried to advance in the direction of the settlements Zavody and Dibrovne and had no success.
In the Donetsk and Tavria directions, the combats took place along the line of contact. During a day, the enemy attacked in the direction of Slovyansk and strengthened their position in Lozova. The enemy continues strengthening the occupied positions in the area of Zelena Dolyna and Kreminna, carrying out regrouping and preparation for the offensive.
The enemy’s effort to settle in the settlement of Rubizhne has no success. In the area of Popasna, the enemy carried out assault actions in the direction of the settlement of Novotoshkivske and in the depth of the settlement of Popasna and had no success. The enemy occupied the position in the center of the settlement of Stepne.
In the Avdiivka and Kurakhove directions, the occupiers tried to carry out assault actions, but also had no success.
In the Mariupol direction, the enemy continues airstrikes on Mariupol and is blocking our units in the area of Azovstal.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the occupiers carried out assault actions in the direction of the settlement of Zelene Pole, with no success.The enemy strengthened grouping due to the relocation of units of the 19th mechanized infantry division of the 58th combined army of the Southern military circuit. At the same time, the battalion tactical group of the 127th mechanized infantry division of the 5th combined army has lost its fighting capacity and is withdrawn to the region for renewal.
In the Pivdenyy Bug direction, in the area of the settlement of Oleksandrivka, the enemy maintains defense of the occupied positions. They carry out aerial reconnaissance. Assault actions are possible to achieve administrative borders of the Kherson region.
“According to information available, the personnel of the separate group of russian troops in the so-called prydnistrovya-moldova republic carries out service by a regular procedure. At the same time, the probability remains that the territory of the unrecognized republic might be used for the aggression against Ukraine,” was reported additionally in the brief of the General Staff.
The Ministry of Defense has reported today that russia carries out an offensive in the eastern operational zone. The purpose is to establish full control over Donetsk and Luhansk regions and maintain a land corridor to Crimea.
For this purpose, the enemy completes determining favorite places to make decisive attacks.
