The Russian occupiers are doing everything to cause a food crisis in the southern regions of Ukraine.
This was reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation [CCD] at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine with reference to the words of the Ombudsman Lyudmyla Denisova.
Russians export grain to the temporarily occupied Crimea, which they steal from Ukrainian farmers.
"In particular, the occupiers looted the elevator in Novooleksiivka and exported grain to Crimea. This can be confirmed by reports from Sevastopol residents that a few days ago the sea terminal for grain transshipment, there is no reserves of which in Crimea, earned," the CCD said.
At the same time invaders gave an ultimatum to farmers in the Kherson region - the occupiers will allow to sow only grain and sunflower, if Ukrainians agree to give free 70% of the future harvest.
"Most farmers refuse such cooperation," the Disinformation Center added.
"I don't want to draw parallels, but the Bolsheviks were doing almost the same thing in Ukraine," the CCD stressed.
In the Kharkiv region occupiers demand from farmers to begin sowing. And those who disagree are threatened with "nationalization."
