"As in the region there is only one cucumber plant, and the shortage of other vegetables and grains caused by foreign sanctions is acute not only in Krasnoyarsk Territory, but also at the federal level, the expropriation of past year's and current excessive harvests of farmers in the Kherson region will be one of tools to provide assistance to small businesses, consumer cooperatives, "the statement said.
Vladislav Zyryanov, head of the Committee on Rural Affairs and Agricultural Policy, said that the experience of the Krasnoyarsk Territory could be "successfully" implemented in other Russian regions in the future.
