On Thursday, April 28, the White House plans to submit to Congress a proposal for a long-term package of support for Ukraine, which will cover the rest of the current fiscal year, which ends in the United States on September 30.
This was announced by White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki, according to Bloomberg.
According to her, the proposal will include “security or military assistance, humanitarian economic assistance” to “help address a range of needs the Ukrainians have.”
Separately, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken told senators that the proposal would also include funds for demining and food security.
The US House of Representatives will vote on a bill on Lend-Lease for Ukraine.
