The Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine stressed that Russia should be deprived of the right of veto in the UN Security Council

Late Thursday, 28 April, the Secretary-General of the United Nations António Guterres met with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the team of the Office of the President.

The head of the state informed about it on Facebook.

“Today, I am meeting in Kyiv with the Secretary-General of the United Nations Organization António Guterres. Welcome to Ukraine! It is very important that in this difficult time you have come to visit our country,” the President wrote and posted a video of the meeting.

During the UN Secretary-General’s visit to Kyiv, russia launched a missile attack on the capital of Ukraine.

“This is one more proof that we need quick victory over the rf, and the entire civilized world needs to unite around Ukraine. We need to act quickly. More weapons, more efforts to resolve humanitarian issues, more support. Every day Ukraine pays a high price for defending democracy and Freedom. And we cannot lose this battle,” the Head of the President’s Office said.

Andrii Yermak stressed that russia should be deprived of the right of veto in the UN Security Council.

As it was informed, today, during his visit to Ukraine the UN Secretary-General visited Borodyanka in the Kyiv region.

On 27 April, the UN Secretary-General arrived in Ukraine. Earlier he visited Moscow where he had a meeting with russia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Serhii Lavrov. The UN Secretary-General has also a meeting with volodymyr putin. They discussed proposals on humanitarian aid and evacuation of civilians from the conflict zones related to the situation in Mariupol/
