Combatants of Special Operation Forces blew up a railway bridge in the Melitopol district, which the invaders regularly used to transport equipment and ammunition from the temporarily occupied Crimea to mainland Ukraine.
The command of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces reported about this.
"For the Russians, it was an important logistics node from the occupied Crimea to Melitopol... This route played an essential role in increasing enemy forces in the direction of Polog, Tokmak, and Mariupol. Given the proximity of the bridge to Crimea, the occupiers' dependence on this object, and the large size of the construction, which will be difficult to repair after destruction, it was decided to destroy the object," the military reported.
Destruction of the bridge will slow down the supply of enemy units from the Crimean direction.
At the beginning of March, unknowns blew up the bridge connecting the Odesa region with Transnistria.
And in early April, the russian occupiers blew up a bridge over the Seym River, connecting Sumy and Putyvl.
