The occupiers stole from Mariupol and took to russia some of the working mechanical lung ventilators, which are necessary for treating seriously ill patients.

The Mariupol City Council reported this, citing the locals who remained in the city.

"It is likely that the COVID pandemic in russia, despite official statements, continues to worsen. The rashists stole medical equipment from Ukrainian cities, where hospitals were provided with everything they needed, including ventilators. In Mariupol hospitals alone, there were 60 devices for lung ventilation", the City Council noted.

Mayor Vadym Boychenko stressed that stealing what survived hostilities was looting and a war crime.
