Russian occupation troops intensify their offensive in the east of Ukraine and prepare for even more intense fighting.
This was stated by the spokesman of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine Oleksandr Motuzianyk during the briefing on Saturday, April 30, informs Interfax-Ukraine. "Russian troops are gradually intensifying their offensive in the east of Ukraine simultaneously in all directions. It is the most intensive in the Slobozhansky and Donetsk directions. There are also signs of the aggressor`s preparation for even more intense fighting," he said.
According to the Ministry of Defence spokesman, some preparatory actions of the enemy are the evidence to this. For example, in the Balakliia Central District Hospital beds are freed up and an additional field hospital is set up. Meanwhile in the russian city of Rostov-na-Donu, occupants have put additional refrigerated containers for storage of the dead on the premises of a military hospital.
Russian occupants in the Luhansk region want to defeat the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Popasna direction, Hirska community and in Rubizhne.
According to The General Staff of the UAF, in the Slobozhansky direction the enemy focuses on holding positions and shelling the UAF units. To strengthen its forces, the enemy moves some units belonging to the Eastern Military District from Belgorod region to Izium region. In the Eastern Operational Zone the enemy continues to advance on the Lyman, Severodonetsk, where it is trying to complete the capture of Rubizhne, Popasna and Kurakhiv directions. There is no success, the fighting continues.
