Brazil is ready to sell 300,000 shells for Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft guns, which Germany will hand over to Ukraine. Business Insider reported.

Until now, it was only known that the Munich manufacturer Kraus-Maffei Wegmann (KMW), which wants to supply machines, has about 23,000 shells in stock. Gepard can fire up to 1,100 shots per minute, so these stocks would be enough for only a few minutes.

Earlier, Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Andriy Melnyk noted that anti-aircraft guns were not needed without ammunition. "If the German Ministry of Defense does not buy ammunition in the coming days, Ukraine will probably have to turn down Germany's offer."
