In late May and early June, Ukraine will receive enough weapons from the West to shift the balance of power. That is, in the second half of June, or rather in July, fierce fighting will begin, and the Ukrainian army will go on the offensive.

This forecast was made by an adviser to the head of the President's Office, Oleksiy Arestovych, in an interview with Mark Feigin.

As a result, hastily mobilized, demoralized, and unprepared russian conscripts on broken or repaired equipment will meet on the battlefield with well-trained and armed with western weapons Ukrainian defenders, who bear the memory of Bucha and Mariupol.

"Can you imagine what will happen to your children? Maybe you don't need this war?" said Arestovich addressing the relatives of the russian military.

Recently, Arestovych explained why the Ukrainian fighters don't go on counterattack. He assured that the Armed Forces of Ukraine would launch an offensive as soon as they received heavy weapons. He stressed that the offensive was "a huge loss and therefore difficult endeavour." One must have forces and a rear.

"That is why, as soon as the weapons arrive, the Ukrainian soldiers immediately go on the counterattack. We are ready - the issue is only in the weapons. I see that there is a chance that this issue will be resolved," added Arestovich.

Earlier, a Pentagon spokesman said that more than half of the 90 howitzers the United States is sending to Ukraine are already in the country. 50 Ukrainians have been trained in howitzers and are going to return to Ukraine and "teach their comrades."
