Russia stole "several hundred thousand tons of" grain in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

The Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Taras Vysotsky has made this statement during a TV marathon, RBC-Ukraine reports.

He reported about 1.5 million tons of grain in the occupied territories. He expressed fears that most of this grain may be stolen by the russians.

Earlier, Ukraine accused russia of theft of grain, which increased the threat of global food security by the interruptions of spring sowing and blocking of Ukrainian ports during the war.

As reported earlier, deputies of the Krasnoyarsk region of the russian federation want to expropriate grain from the territory of the Kherson region to solve the problems of their food fund. The invaders have put an ultimatum – they will allow farmers to sow only grain and sunflower if Ukrainians agree to give 70% of the future harvest for free.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine emphasized that the decision of the legislative assembly of the Krasnoyarsk region of the russian federation is a direct extension of the criminal policy of the Soviets responsible for the mass artificial famine in Ukraine of 1921-1923, the Holodomor of 1932-1933 and the mass artificial famine of 1946-1947.
