Ukrainian authorities evacuated 35 residents, including children, from Lysychansk, and five from Sievierodonetsk.

This was reported in the Telegram by the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Haidai.

"Despite the increased risks, we evacuate every day. Yesterday we lost two buses in Popasna, recently one has been lost in Rubizhne. We are trying to save everyone who can still be reached by transport. There are still parents with children in the Luhansk region who would like to resume their children’s studies sooner. But for some reason, adults are in no hurry to evacuate. Four children from Lysychansk were rescued today," Haidai texted.

In total, according to him, 40 people have already left for other regions on April 30. The evacuation continues.

According to Haidai, the russian occupiers in the Luhansk region want to overcome the defence of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Popasna direction, in the Hirske Community, and in Rubizhne.

On April 29, the Russian military destroyed and damaged 20 houses and two schools in the Luhansk region. In Popasna, the Luhansk region, russian troops fired on two evacuation buses.
