In order to destroy the routes of communication in the enemy's rear, Special Operations Forces [SOF] fighters of Ukraine together with soldiers of the National Guard [NGU] Rapid Reaction Brigade and Security Service of Ukraine [SSU] fighters blew up the bridge between the cities of Rubizhne and Severodonetsk," announced on Facebook by the Command of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The SOF command noted that this operation deterred the russian offensive on Lysychansk and Severodonetsk.
The head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhey Haiday said that the russian occupiers were incessantly firing at Severodonetsk. At least 10 people were killed in enemy shelling on May 16.
