In southern Ukraine, the Ukrainian army hit 90 targets in enemy positions on May 18. Two self-propelled artillery systems and armored vehicles were destroyed, as well as some personnel.
This was reported on Facebook by the Operational Command "South".
"Our rocket and artillery units, in cooperation with aviation, during the current day have hit 90 targets in enemy positions. As a result, 20 rushists, 2 self-propelled artillery units, vehicles and armored vehicles were hit. The final losses are being updated," the report says.
The command adds that on the line of battle in the Kherson and Mykolaiv regions the enemy has no advances from their positions.
Two squads of warships continue maneuvering in the Black Sea, holding up a siege of Ukrainian ports and civilian shipping. Four ships have more than 30 cruise missiles on standby.
Yesterday the russian occupants launched a missile attack on Odesa from the Black Sea. There was no significant damage or casualties.
