This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny.
"Every day, destroying the enemy, liberating towns and villages from the occupiers, rebuilding infrastructure, servicemen of the Ukrainian Armed Forces put an end to the crimes of the russian federation against civilians and preventing the new ones," Zaluzhny said.
He said that in early May, Ukrainian defenders deoccupied the village of Kutuzivka.
"About 170 locals lived in the basement of the kindergarten for more than two months. Among them were 40 children aged 3 months to 12. The Ukrainian military, who liberated the village, provided first aid to locals, shared with them everything they needed - water, food, clothes ", - said the commander in chief.
Zaluzhny stressed that the duty of fighters is to protect their people and their state. "And we do it with honor," he added.
The other day the deputy chief of the Main operational department of the General Staff of UAF Alexey Gromov declared that in area the Ukrainian fighters liberated since May 5 23 settlements.
Ombudsman Lyudmila Denisova said that mass reports of sex crimes by russians were coming from the liberated territories of Kharkiv region.
