Murders of civilians, shelling of kindergartens, hospitals, and residential areas, usage of cruise missiles on civilian targets, shooting at school buses, blockage of ambulances - this is not a complete list of war crimes committed by rf against the people of Ukraine. These are crimes that have no statute of limitations. There is no amnesty for committing them.

LB correspondent reports that the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksandr Matuzianyk, informed about it during the briefing.

"Russia's war against Ukraine has shown the world the enormous difference between the UAF (Armed Forces of Ukraine) as a democratic army and the russian occupation horde. One of the characteristics of European countries is compliance with international humanitarian law. Since the beginning of the war, the Ukrainian army has followed all the Geneva Conventions' norms and principles. "RF does the opposite. The russians completely ignore them, which is proved by evidence of numerous violations of the rules and customs of war by the russian occupiers," - he said.

Matuzianyk said Ukraine has always adhered to the norms of international humanitarian law.

"Back in 2017, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine approved a decree implementing all norms and rules of international humanitarian law. This document contains all the requirements of the four Geneva Conventions. In particular, how to improve the situation of militaries during ground and naval wars. They also refer to the provisions on prisoners of war and the protection of civilians," - added the spokesman for the Ministry of Defense.

He says the combat rules of the General Staff also regularize international law.

But due to full-scale aggression and the numerous facts of war crimes committed by the russian occupiers, it became necessary to share the relevant information with civilians and journalists. This information refers to the violation of international humanitarian law by russian invaders on the territory of Ukraine.

Andriy Ostrovskyi, Head of the Strategic Communications Department of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the UAF, added that the Ministry of Defense is launching a project to share relevant materials.

"By unleashing a bloody war, rf is committing actions that have no justification, neither from a military nor from a moral point of view. Murders of civilians, shelling of kindergartens, hospitals, and residential areas, usage of cruise missiles on civilian targets, shooting at school buses, blockage of ambulances - this is not a complete list of war crimes committed by rf against the population of Ukraine. This is not a complete list of war crimes committed by the rf against the people of Ukraine. These are crimes that have no statute of limitations, and there is no amnesty for committing them. We want to draw the international community's attention to the cynical and systematic violation of international and humanitarian law norms and human morality by russians. War criminals must face an international tribunal and get the most severe punishment for causing suffering to the Ukrainian people."

The project of the Ministry of Defense is about sharing relevant videos about the war crimes of the occupiers and explanations about the application of international law to the russian invaders. In addition, it is planned to organize a series of classes for the military of the UAF. The relevant information will also be available to an international audience.

At the same time, Viacheslav Raievskyi, a member of the Strategic Communications Department of the Office of the Commander-in-Chief of the UAF, emphasized that 20 videos about the basic rules of war, which are synonymous with international humanitarian law, have already been launched.

The project is set up for 2.5 months; all educational videos will be available on YouTube channels and various resources for free.

The US State Department has announced the launch of a new program to collect and analyze evidence of war crimes committed by the russian military in Ukraine.
