The murder of the family of the Motyzhyn village head in the Kyiv region - Olha Sukhenko, her husband, and her son - has been solved. The investigation has identified five militaries of the russian Armed Forces and three mercenaries of the PMC (Private Miltary company) "Wagner" who committed this crime.

Prosecutor General Iryna Venediktova wrote about this on Facebook.

She said the prosecutors of prosecutors offices of the Kyiv region and Kyiv-Sviatoshynskyi district, together with the SSU (Security Service of Ukraine), identified those involved in the atrocities in Motyzhyn, in particular, in the murder of the village head and her family:

senior lieutenant Oleh Krykunov - platoon commander of the 37th separate motorized rifle brigade of the 36th combined-arms army;

Sergeant Chinhiz Honchikov - squad leader - commander of the combat vehicle of the 37th separate motorized rifle brigade of the 36th combined-arms army;

Sergeant Oleksandr Vanchikov - squad leader of the 37th separate motorized rifle brigade of the 36th combined-arms army;

Sergeant Magomedmirza Suleymanov - Commander of the combat vehicle of the 37th separate motorized rifle brigade of the 36th combined-arms army;

senior lieutenant Vitaliy Dmitriev, platoon commander of the 37th separate motorized rifle brigade of the 36th combined-arms army;

Serhiy Sazanov - a member of PMC "Wagner";

Serhiy Sazonov - the driver of the command vehicle of PMC "Wagner";

Oleksandr Stupnitskyi -the reconnaissance and communications officer of the 1st Reconnaissance and Assault Platoon of the 1st Reconnaissance and Assault Company of PMC "Wagner."

The investigation established that in March 2022, during the occupation of the village, they abducted Olрa Sukhenko, the head of Motyzhyn, her husband, and her son. At their "base," the invaders tortured them to get information about the UAF and defense. First, they shot her son in the leg and then shot him in the head in front of his mother. The whole family died from multiple gunshot wounds.

The bodies of Olha Sukhenko's family were found after the liberation of the Kyiv region from the russian occupiers at the beginning of April.
