The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine intercepted a telephone conversation between the Russian soldiers, in which the occupiers were discussing an attempt on an employee of the energy repair unit of the Zaporizhzhya NPP.
The Main Intelligence Directorate informed about it in the Telegram.
It is heard on the audio recording that the officers of the punitive division of the occupiers firstly found out the personal data of Serhiy Shvets. Then they give the assignment to find him in the workplace. But he left the station after the shift that is why the officers went to his place of residence.
The last call was recorded from the occupier with the call sign “Lovets”. He reported that the Ukrainian was found at his home address.
"We have visited him already. He has a machine gun, he tried to defend himself. He was killed. He is still alive, but he will not survive. He has several gunshot wounds," the Russian soldier said.
To remind, on May 23, the occupiers broke into the house of Serhiy Shvets, an employee of the Zaporizhzhya NPP's energy repair unit, and shot him several times with an automatic weapon.
The man is hospitalized with numerous gunshot wounds, doctors are fighting for his life.
Energodar is occupied by Russian troops. The city authorities are currently operating from the territory of Zaporizhia.
