Today, 26 May, the occupiers fired on more than 50 settlements in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
This was reported by the press service of the Joint Forces.
“Along the entire line of defence, the enemy uses combat aircraft, multiple rocket launchers, large-calibre artillery, tanks, mortars of various systems, launches missile and bomb strikes on civilian infrastructure, peaceful housing estates,” the statement said.
Today, the russian occupiers destroyed and damaged 60 civilian objects - 55 houses, a school, a mining company, an administrative building of a recreation center, and a fire department.
As a result of these shellings, 9 civilians were killed and 14 others were wounded and injured to varying degrees.
In the past 24 hours, the Allied Forces destroyed:
1 tank;
5 artillery systems;
5 units of combat armoured vehicles;
5 enemy cars.
Also, air defenсe units shot down an enemy Ka-52 multi-role helicopter, a cruise missile and an Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle in the skies of the Ukrainian Donbas.
Also, the Ukrainian defenders in the area of responsibility of operational and tactical group “East” destroyed 87 invaders.
