Today, May 28, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy had a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Borys Johnson.
Zelenskiy wrote about this on Twitter.
"In our dialogue, he had another telephone conversation with Boris Johnson. They talked about strengthening Ukraine's defense support, intensifying work on security guarantees, and supplying fuel to Ukraine," the statement said.
The President added that Ukraine and the United Kingdom must jointly prevent the food crisis and unblock Ukrainian ports.
Italian newspaper Corriere Della Sera reported, citing its own sources, that Boris Johnson had proposed to Vladimir Zelenskiy to create a new international alliance that would oppose russia and become an alternative to the EU.
Johnson said that normalization of relations with russian president vladimir putin is no longer possible.
