Russian troops continue conducting artillery and mortar fire on Ukrainian municipalities and positions of our defenders in the South of Ukraine.
They use Ka-52 reconnaissance and attack helicopters to detect Ukrainian military units. The Operational Command "South" informed about it in their morning report on Facebook.
"Ruscists [russian fascist] shelled Mykolaiv using self-propelled multiple rocket launcher systems "Uragan." The ammunition exploded in the front yards of the residential buildings. The shelling damaged eight houses. One person died immediately, and seven more received injuries of different degrees. Kryvyi Rih also was a target for a missile strike.
Russia's naval groups in the Black Sea pose a threat of missile strikes. The occupiers are using the situation to organize a rescue operation near Zmiinyi Island and get out of the water military assault boat "Raptor." After lifting the boat, they want to send him to the Donuzlav base.
"The ruscists are trying to patch up the significantly reduced number of ships and boats in the Black Sea Fleet, using those that "went down" - informed the Operative Command "South."
The military urged to be careful and conscious, not to neglect security rules, to check the information carefully, to understand the limitations of martial law, to follow the established order, and trust the defense forces.
As of 8 May 2022, the Ukrainian military had destroyed six russian "Raptor" boats. In total, russia had 17 such boats. Seven of them were a part of the Black Sea Fleet.
