More than 350 cultural monuments in Ukraine have been damaged as a result of hostilities.

This was reported by Ukrinform with reference to the Minister of Culture and Information Policy Oleksandr Tkachenko.

“We roughly understand how together with our colleagues from the Ministry of Regional Development and the Ministry of Infrastructure it is possible to start rebuilding the monuments that were partially destroyed. In the near future we will calculate and understand how much it will cost,” Tkachenko said.

He said the amount of recovery would be significant and could reach billions of euros. To this end, a large fund can be set up with the assistance of European partners. Negotiations are currently underway with European ministers.

Also, a special fund has been set up in the village of Skovorodynivka in the Kharkiv region to restore the Hryhoriy Skovoroda National Literary Memorial Museum.
