The Polish government has decided to hand over to Ukraine three batteries of 155 mm AHS Krab self-propelled artillery units.

This was reported by the Military Portal.

The Polish side has already trained 100 Ukrainian servicemen to use this type of weapon.

AHS Krab is the Polish national ACS. Its production uses a license tower from the British howitzer AS90. And the South Korean platform from the K9 Thunder ACS was chosen as the chassis.

The battery of the Krab ACS includes: the command and staff vehicle of the battery commander, two vehicles of platoon commanders, eight 155-mm ACS Krab, two transport and charging vehicles, a machine for repairing weapons and electronics. Krab is armed with four units of the Polish Army - one mechanized brigade and three artillery regiments.

Earlier German Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck denied that his country does not supply or supplies too few weapons to Ukrainians.

The US Department of Defense has also signed a $624m contract with leading defense contractor Raytheon to replenish Stinger anti-aircraft missiles, as much of them have been provided to Ukraine.

Also, according to media reports, the administration of US President Joe Biden has approved the sending of long-range multiple rocket launchers to Ukraine, which could significantly help Ukraine defend its territory.
