Ukraine received six fire trucks and seven ambulances from the French Republic.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reported it.
The transfer of equipment took place in the 25th fire department of Kyiv. The Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of France, Catherine Colonna, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Denys Monastyrskyi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Ukraine, Etienne de Poncins, and the Chairman of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Serhiy Kruk attended the event.
"Rescue vehicles, fire trucks, and special emergency equipment will help eliminate the consequences of residential building debris, extinguish fires, rescue and evacuate people, and perform other tasks," - reads the statement.
This is the third batch of transferred equipment. "Speaking about these humanitarian missions to help Ukraine, France undoubtedly is a leader," - informed the MIF (Ministry of Internal Affairs).
"Every convoy we send is an expression of solidarity and friendship between the French and Ukrainian peoples. One thousand three hundred local communities organized the collection and delivery of humanitarian aid. We continue to plan to help your country in this difficult time, " - added Catherine Colonne.
The convoy of 13 fire trucks and ambulances with 120 tons of humanitarian aid started its way from France to Ukraine at the beginning of May.
