On May 30, US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink presented her patent letters to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and began discussing how the United States could support Ukraine, reports the US Embassy in Ukraine.
Ambassador Brink also wrote that she honored those who died defending their country.
"I am honored to join our fantastic team @USEmbKyiv for the support of Ukraine," Bridget Brink wrote earlier that day, May 30, and posted a photo from downtown Kyiv.
On May 18, the United States Senate approved the candidacy of Bridget Brink for the post of US Ambassador to Ukraine. Also, on May 18, a flag was raised over the US Embassy in Kyiv to symbolize resuming of activities.
