Russia's Ambassador to the UN Vasily Nebenzia left the UN Security Council during a speech by European Council President Charles Michel.
The latter directly accused russia of war crimes in Ukraine and creating a global food crisis.
"It is russian tanks, bombs and mines that prevent Ukraine from planting and harvesting. The Kremlin is also targeting grain depots and stealing grain from its occupied territories, shifting the blame on others. It's cowardly. This is propaganda," he said.

Michel added that the Kremlin is using food supplies as a stealth missile against developing countries.
"It is driving up food prices, pushes people into poverty and destabilizes entire regions. Russia is fully responsible for this food crisis. Despite his campaign of lies," said the president of the European Council.

After these words, Nebenzia got up and left the meeting room.
Michelle replied, "You can leave the room, maybe it's easier for you not to listen to the truth, dear Ambassador."
President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that Ukraine is ready to resume grain exports, and all of russia's claims about Ukrainian side blocking exports are untrue. The occupiers are spreading these narratives in Asia, Africa and Europe.
Today, Bloomberg reported that Turkey and russia have reached a preliminary agreement to ensure the export of Ukrainian grain by sea through the port of Odesa.
